Sony Delivers Home Features Video

It's almost here... I know, we've been knocking at the Sony door and no-one has been in, but the promise is out there and they can't take it back - Home will be released this year.

After watching the video, it's obvious that the community has been unfairly judging Home, calling it a Nintendo or Second Life rip-off... This couldn't be further from the truth.

It is actually a blatant, unapologetic carbon coy of The Sims. From the icons appearing over the avatars heads, to the socialising between them in the bars and lounge rooms, down to the beige furniture that can be purchased for the Ikea life houses, Sony are looking to draw fans of the most successful franchise in gaming history to the PS3.
And you can play games.

Dear Author: You must be one of the most bitter fanboys out there. To say that Sony's Home is just like the Sims is rather ignorant. 1.Home is an interactive social gaming network/community. 2.In Home, you actually meet and interact with real people and friends. In the Sims, they're all AI. 3.Can you launch games such as Resistance 2, Motorstorm, Socom, etc, from a Sims game? No You sir, are either a Nintendo fanboy who sees that Home is many times more than Miis, or just another dumb 360 fanboy who gets nothing close to it, but a blatant copy of Nintendo's Miis.

That was just a pathetic assumption. Home is *not* like Second Life. It sounds as if you're jealous either way.

Defo a 360/wii fanboy,

But as for the video it shows a couple of new games and a game launch screen plus events, all in all a very nice.

And as for looking like the sims,? weird indeed.
I think you 'll find it was games like monkey island, zak McKracken etc the had speech bubbles above them, maybe even earlier. I am sure the reviewer new what he was doing when he said that. fanboys know how to bait.
