Silicon Knights "Next Game Nothing Like Too Human"
August 19th 2008 01:48
A concession that Too Human might not have been everything Silicon Knights had hoped?
Silicon Knights boss Dennis Dyack has admitted in an interview with CVG that their next project will be nothing like Too Human.
"We want to continue to do that to keep fresh. That's really what's important, and making sure that we continue to make new IPs but also continue to innovate in the genres that we try to... create content in, I suppose is the best way to describe it."
"We've been lucky enough to make Legacy of Kain, Eternal Darkness, Too Human and if you look at all of those they're all really different," said Dyack. "The next game that we're going to announce, not including the sequels to the trilogy, it's nothing like anything else we've ever made before."
The trilogy is currently locked in with Microsoft Game Studios, but with the current batch of reviews describing Too Human as "schizophrenic" by 1UP and "aggravating" by Game Informer, let's hope that they take the same "nothing like" philosophy into the rest next two games in the Too Human universe too.
