Red Steel 2 - Sword Fighting 1 To 1

Red Steel 2 is coming to the Wii sometime this year, and with it the promise of the most accurate representation of sabre fighting to date due to the new Wii Motionplus system.
Alain Corre, executive director for Ubisoft is excited about the technology and what it will bring to their new title Red Steel 2.
Corre says, "It was a great announcement, what [Nintendo] showed [in its press conference], because it's true that on Red Steel it's the typical product that will appreciate the new device."
Red Steel 2 will be one of the first games built to take full advantage of the new controller add-on, which promises to bring gamers a true one to one motion translation to the game. That's a whole lot of Kill Bill style fun. Corre went on to say, "So Red Steel is a brand, and as with every brand we have, we now have to reach the top quality possible. What was missing was the preciseness of the sabre - and with this new device I think it will change the experience."
This bodes well for the legions of gamers who had looked forward to titles such as Star Wars: Unleashed but were dissapointed in the current control system, which was basically a 3D digital controller. Although the new Wii Motionplus promises to carry a hefty fee, the realisation of the dream of a controller that truely reflects the gamers moves sounds like it will be worthwhile. GamerChip cannot wait for the Masters Of The Universe game... "By The Power Of Nintendo!"
