It has been announced that the first next gen controller (excuse me Wii owners, i'm talking PS3 and 360) incorporating mutli-axis motion control will be arriving, bundled with it's own title.
In2Games are set to release what they call ‘the most advanced’ motion-sensing controller yet. The ‘Gametrak Freedom’ controller, is touted as being released "soon... is coming out for next generation consoles" and will launch alongside Squeeballs.
Squeeballs is a new game boasting over 100 mini-games which make use of the ‘Gametrak Freedom’ (formerly codenamed ‘Fusion’) device. An In2Games representative told TechRadar: “We will be revealing further details on Squeeballs and 'Gametrak Freedom' in due course.”
AS of yesterday a teaser trailer has been made available. You can find out more through the heading link.
If this turns out to be as promising as it sounds, there is sure to be a flood of titles to hit the respective marketplaces shortly after its release. WIll this mean the death of the Wii? Already to trend turning towards bundling hardware with titles and it is only a matter of time before next gen consoles catch up. They have the hardware and protocols and are now just waiting of the right hardware.
