Confirmed: Emsemble Closing, New Sudio Opening

Put this down as the shortest lived rumour witnessed by the gaming industry. Microsoft has confirmed through Gamespot that Halo Wars developer Ensemble Studios will be shutting its doors for good. The press release goes along the lines of, "This decision does not reflect at all on Ensemble's talent or the quality of Halo Wars--in fact, many people who have had a chance to test drive Halo Wars agree that it is on track to being a fantastic game."
Never fear though, it sounds like the game will be unnafected. Ensemble's "leadership team" is founding a new development studio and will continue to support Halo Wars after launch.
