Craig HillAge Of Conan To Tie In With New Conan Movie

We know that there is already a movie exploring some of the barbarians more primal expliots, but news from the Leipzig Games Convention via Funcom's Erling Ellingsen confirms a new Conan film from Lionsgate that will have close ties Age of Conan MMO.
"The movie is set for release next year, and it's going to be a huge movie. Lionsgate recently announced that they're putting a hundred million dollars into it," Ellingsen said. Details are yet to be confirmed as to man mountain found to play the Cimmerian, nor the crew putting it together.
"We have a very close relationship with the guys making the movie," Ellingsen continued. "I had lunch with the producer just the other day. We're talking to them all the time."
It looks like the film will be released in 2010 as it is currently undergoing a rewrite . Less interesting are the names heard thrown into the fighting pit some time ago as the lead - Kevin Sorbo and The Rock. Have they considered Conan O'Brien? Crom!
